About the project

Fitter Finances: Investing in Health is Aston-Mansfield's programme designed to help community organisations across Newham start, grow and stay resilient. We were asked to design a series of factsheets, as part of their sustainability toolkit, covering the practical topics these organisations need most, including Effective Budgeting, Income Diversification, KPIs, People and Skills Sustainability, PESTLE, Risk Management and Contingency Planning, Social Media Planning and SWOT Analysis.

The factsheets will sit alongside Newhub, the community platform connecting organisations across Newham.

02 / THE CHALLENGE

The challenge

The content already existed as Word documents, full of useful information but heavy on text and pages, difficult to navigate. Aston-Mansfield needed these resources turned into something engaging, easy to read, and clearly part of one connected set with creative touch and aligned with their FitterFinances branding.

03 / PROCESS

What we did

We worked within the Fitter Finances brand, adding touches of the wider Aston Mansfield style so everything felt joined up.

A consistent layout system was built across all the factsheets, so each one looks and feels part of the same family. Icons, images and clear visual hierarchy were used to break up dense text and guide the reader through. Existing diagrams were redrawn to fit the new style.

The result is a set of resources that look approachable, are easy to scan, and feel like a proper toolkit rather than a stack of separate documents.
